Description
For auction is Joyful Hodori Tiger, the official mascot of the 1988 Seoul Korea Olympics. Tae Sung (noted on his back tag) is presumably the manufacturer. He is 11" tall from the tip of his ears to the tip of his shoes. There are two elastic loops on his right back neck area so he could be suspended if desired.
He is a plush tiger throughout but made of three types of fabric. His head, face, tail, arms and trim on pants (most of which are orange) are soft and fluffy. His shirt and shoes are regular material-likely cotton- and his pants are real courderoy. His shirt has an embroidered picture of himself with a large blue "S" in the background and block letters which say Seoul 1988. His eyes are plastic and his 6 whiskers are completely normal.
He has two tags which identify him further. On his right hand is a plastic "J" with the word "Joyful". On his left waist at the back is a small fabric tab which has the same "J" and "Tae Sung" on one side, and Korean words on the reverse.
You almost never see this one. Please e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks.
