This is a RARE, very hard to find, small-sized soft, cuddly Käthe Kruse Teddy Bear, standing 12 inches tall; a wonderful huggable caramel bear! I believe it is Model #42-33-05. It is not jointed and has a soft filled body. Its original square gold and red Käthe Kruse tag is intact. It has actual brown buttons for eyes and a brown stitched nose. It was made in Germany and was purchased around 1981.
At only 6 ounces with a cute expression on its face, and soft all over, I believe this bear was designed to be carried around by a small child.
Käthe Kruse is most famously known for her dolls. You can search for other Käthe Kruse teddy bears but they are not easy to be found and will be few and far between. Acquiring one today is quite a feat!
